Trial and Pre-Wedding questons

When should schedule my have a trial?
You should have your trial at least 2-6 months before the wedding date and after you have picked your wedding gown, veil and tiara.Try and schedule an appointment as soon as you have decided on a wedding date.

When do I need to make a decision?
You have 7 days after your trial to decide whether you'd like to book Ai for Hair & Makeup.

Do I need to leave a deposit?
Yes, you need to make deposit of at least 50% of the quoted total. Placing a deposit confirms and ensures the stylist is available to do your Hair & Makeup on a specified date.This deposit is non-refundable, but you will receive some credit for Hair & Makeup services in the future. If you cancel for any reason, deposit will not be refunded.

What do I need to bring to the trial?
You need a photo of your wedding gown, your favorite Hair & Makeup photos from magazines and your favorite portrait picture. If you plan to wear a veil and tiara, please bring these to the trial.

Day of the Wedding questions

Can I wash my hair at day of wedding?
NO. Because many hairstyles will not stay well on just washed hair. You should wash your hair the night before wedding. After washing your hair please dry it completely from scalp to hair ends. Try to not use any clips or hair bands.

What should I wear when I am having my Hair & Makeup done?
You must wear a shirt or top that opens from the front so as not to mess up your newly done Hair & Makeup.

Do I need to prepare the room in any special way for my Hair & Makeup?
Where possible set up a low back chair and mirror near a window with natural light. If this is not possible, then please set up a low back chair in a well lit room.
 
Wedding Day - Price & Timing (for 2009)
Basic Package: Bride + 2 people's Hair and Makeup for the Wedding Day (includes bride’s trial) – $500.
Bride's Package: Only Bride's Hair and Makeup for the Wedding Day (includes trial) – $350
Additional person's Hair AND Makeup with the basic or Bride's package – $130/pp
Additional person's Hair OR Makeup with the basic or Bride's package – $90/pp
  * Traveling fee is not included.
* Hair and Makeup on the Wedding Day takes approximately 5 hours for 3 people (2 hours for the bride and 1.5 hours for two others).

Trial - Price & Timing (for 2009)
Hair and Makeup trial is $80. This amount will be deducted from final balance if you decide to go ahead and purchase the basic package.
Trial and consultation usually takes 3-4hours.

Wedding Day - Price & Timing (for 2010)
Basic Package: $550.
Bride's Package: $350
Additional person's Hair AND Makeup with the basic or Bride's package – $150/pp
Additional person's Hair OR Makeup with the basic or Bride's package – $90/pp
 
Ai did an amazing job.  During the trial run, she was incredibly patient and helped me try multiple looks with both my hair and makeup.  On the wedding day, I was so pleased with the result!  I normally don't wear any makeup, so I was nervous about looking appropriately glammed up but still looking like myself.   Ai definitely achieved the perfect look for me.  I felt beautiful all night!  :) –Tracy

       
Since I had never gotten my hair or makeup done before, I was very nervous...but Ai was incredibly professional and helpful! My hair looked gorgeous and my makeup looked fresh and beautiful without looking too heavy. I got so many compliments! I would highly recommend Ai, she was a great part of my wedding day!

Having you as my makeup artist and hair dresser was very great! I love the way you work and made my feel like a princess that special day. Everybody complemented me on my hair and makeup and said that you did an excellent work. As you can see the pictures came out very natural and with a nice glowing.

It was great having Ai take care of the hair & makeup for me and my bridesmaids.  I requested to see her portfolio which definitely made me secure about her skills.  On the wedding day, we started early-6am! and Ai was there right on time.  I was extremely happy with her work and her personality certainly made a stressful day much more fun and relaxing.  – Suzanne  
       
Ai was wonderful. I don't usually wear make up or have my hair
professionally styled and Ai made the experience relaxing and
comfortable. I felt beautiful and not 'overdone'. Ai was able to
